What do you give the golfer in your life for Father’s Day? How about an afternoon at Brickopolis? A few weeks ago I won a Brickopolis gift card at a Broker’s Open (that’s an open house for Realtors, usually with food and prizes) drawing in Edmond. The girls and I used it to “treat” the hubs to an afternoon of pizza and mini golf there to celebrate his big day. It was our first time at the new attraction in Bricktown. Have you gone yet?
Food & Drink
There are two options for food and drink. You can go upstairs to canal level for a family friendly pizza and salad buffet. If your favorite pizza isn’t on the buffet, let the staff know and they will make it for you. My daughter needed a cheese-less pizza (I know, no fun), and they happily made it for her. At street level there is a bar and grill serving burgers and beer. Outdoor seating is available. Drinks are also served from a shack on the first hole of the miniature golf course.
Brickopolis offers mini golf, laser tag, an arcade and mining. The 18 hole miniature golf course is right along the Bricktown Canal for just $8.95 per person. If you are able to get a hole in one on the 18th hole, you’ll win a pass to play laser tag. The third floor is home to a large arcade and a 7500 square foot laser tag arena, play for just $8.95 per person. You can also mine for gemstones under the water tower outside for, you guessed it, $8.95 per person.
Brickopolis is in the heart of Oklahoma City’s Bricktown District at 101 S. Mickey Mantle Drive. It’s just a short walk from the Lower Bricktown Parking Lots.
We had a great afternoon. As expected the hubs beat the heck out of me and the girls at miniature golf, but I was definitely the winner in the much more competitive amateur division!
