Edmond Market Update (April 2014)

I’ve been so busy with a couple new listings over in the Venice Neighborhood and prepping for an enormous Memorial Weekend Estate Sale in Norman (you’ll want to be on the lookout for details next week) that I almost missed posting your market update for April!

Better late than never, right!

As you can see, during April 447 new listings hit the market in Edmond. Of those, 206 have already accepted an offer and 21 are now closed. Last month, 392 offers were accepted. 53% of those were homes in Edmond that were listed in April!

During April, 252 transactions closed after an average listing period of just 50 days. That was about 50 fewer homes sold than the previous month. The most expensive home to be sold last month went for $900,000 and the least expensive went for $56,000. The average sold price in Edmond during April was $258,502.

Remember, this report is always created using data collected from the OKCMAR MLS within the EPS boundaries. For a detailed report of what’s selling in your neighborhood, drop me a line at kristyn.grewell@century21.com or let me know in the comments below.
