Edmond Real Estate Market Report (September 2012)

Yesterday I was talking to a new client who is relocating to Edmond from the east coast.  While we toured homes we chatted about the differences between the market here in Edmond compared to the market he is leaving.  He told me that he’s been asked by several friends why he was considering a move to Oklahoma.  I couldn’t help but smile when he told me his response.  He answers by saying, “their economy is stable, that’s why.”  Love it.

Maybe he’s been keeping an eye on our market reports.  Here’s how the Edmond real estate market made out in September.  Check out that most expensive home sold.  That’s not a typo.  It really says 3.2M.  That was a ten acre estate with 13,000 square feet, five bedrooms, and six bathrooms near Lake Arcadia.

Remember, if you want a detailed report of what’s happening in your own neighborhood, you can always give me a buzz at the CENTURY 21 Goodyear Green office.  That number is 405-359-7400.  Just ask for Kristyn.
Talk to you soon!
