Summer is flying by at my house. Between real estate, a renovation project at my own home and gypsy children, June is but a blur. We’re looking forward to taking some time to slow down this week and enjoy the 4th of July together. But before we do, it’s time to take a look back at what happened in the Edmond real estate market during June 2013 and give you your monthly update. As always, I’m using data collected from the Oklahoma City MLS June 1-30, 2013 on properties within the Edmond Public School boundaries.
Last month 409 Edmond homeowners listed their house for sale with an average list price of $270,628. Of those, 134 have already accepted an offer. After an average 58 days on the market, 307 transactions closed. Two of the closed properties sold for more than one million bucks. The biggest house that sold was over 5500 square feet while the smallest was just over 550 square feet. See, there really is something for everyone in Edmond!
